I’ve recently joined the used-to-dislike-typescript-but-now-I-love-it club. TypeScript never raised any interests for me just by the fact that it’s not standard and I was fine living with all the warts of JavaScript.

Things clicked for me after a while working a project written in TS from the ground up. It’s impressive how much value and productivity you gain by adding some interfaces here and there.

Today, I’m releasing module-starter-typescript, a boilerplate for building Node.js libraries with TypeScript. Things like linting, formatting and testing are all setup to start building libraries as quick as possible.
